The Liangzhu Laboratory (Zhejiang Provincial Laboratory for Systems Medicine and Precision Diagnosis), established in July 2020 and hosted by Zhejiang University, is one of the first provincial laboratories in Zhejiang Province. It is located in the core area of the Hangzhou West Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. The laboratory focuses on three major research areas: "Major Mental Disorders," "Genetic and Systemic Diseases," and "Blood and Immune Diseases." These areas are led by Academician Shumin Duan, Academician Zhihong Liu, and Professor He Huang, respectively. The laboratory integrates technological innovation with clinical advantages, combining biotechnology and information technology. It aims to uncover disease mechanisms while innovating precision diagnosis methods and technologies. The goal is to become a pioneering stronghold in the life and health industry, oriented towards the future.
